Laundry detergent is something you use every week, for the whole family. It might as well be healthy, effective and responsible. On the Valensole plateau, our family has grown lavender and lavandin since 1932, organically since 2002. Our lavender laundry detergent was born from that conviction: keep it simple, clean and French.
An organic, ethical and responsible detergent
- As few ingredients as possible: just 4, all natural.
- Made in France, with French ingredients: cold-process organic sunflower oil soap and organic lavandin essential oil from our fields.
- Ultra concentrated: 20 ml is enough for a 5 kg load. Less product, less packaging, less transport.
- Biodegradable: no synthetic chemicals released into waste water.
- Palm-oil free, certified Nature & Progrès.
Why “lavender”? For derived products, it is customary to say lavender, as lavandin is a variety of lavender. Our detergent is scented with organic lavandin essential oil, the longest-lasting of all: your laundry smells good for longer. Learn more: lavandin, all about the plant.
An everyday detergent for the whole family
No need for a different detergent for everyone. A soap-based detergent, with no enzymes or synthetic optical brighteners, suits everyday laundry:
- The whole family’s laundry: clothes, sheets, towels.
- Baby clothes: a short formula with no synthetic products, a reassuring choice for little ones.
- Sensitive skin: superfatted soap (8%), with no synthetic preservatives or colourings.
How to use

Tip: replace fabric softener with white vinegar in the drawer. It softens laundry and leaves no smell.
Economical: at 20 ml per load, a 1 L bottle does about 50 washes.

The simplest option: our organic lavender laundry detergent 1 L, or the 5 L can for families.
Our homemade detergent recipe
- 50 g soap flakes
- 1 litre of water
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 20 drops lavandin essential oil
- Melt the soap flakes in lukewarm water over a low heat, stirring.
- Off the heat, add the baking soda, then the essential oil.
- Leave to cool, blend if it has set, then pour into a bottle.
- Shake before each use. Use about 1 glass per load.
Frequently asked questions
Is this detergent suitable for baby clothes?
Yes. Its short, soap-based formula with no synthetic products makes it a good choice for little ones’ laundry. If your baby has very reactive skin, ask your paediatrician.
Does it work at low temperatures?
Yes, 30 to 40 °C is enough for everyday laundry.
Is it suitable for whites?
Yes. To brighten whites, add a spoonful of sodium percarbonate to the drum.
Does the scent stay on the laundry?
A light, natural lavandin scent, with no overpowering synthetic fragrance.
