A family know-how since 1932
Our family grows fine lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), also called true lavender, on the Valensole plateau, from 500 m above sea level. Organic since 2002, long before the trend: no pesticides, no chemical fertilisers. We harvest in July with a flower stripper, a machine that picks only the flowers and leaves the stems in the field: an oil of exceptional quality, and less volume to transport and distil. The flowers are dried, then steam-distilled without being crushed. Contrary to popular belief, fine lavender actually grows better than lavandin on our land: it is simply less productive, about 40 kg of oil per hectare, for a soft, round, floral oil.

Brighter and more camphorous, lavandin is ideal for the home. Do not swallow, keep out of reach of children, always dilute before applying to the skin.
