Our natural soap shavings are traditionally made in France, using only natural and organic ingredients. They are gentle on the skin, environmentally friendly, and filled with soothing aromas.

We use organic olive oil, these chips are biodegradable and entirely vegan. Their gentle formula is suitable for all skin types, including the most sensitive. You can add a few drops of organic lavender or lavandin essential oil to delicately perfume the soap, while also providing the relaxing, soothing benefits of lavender.

These soap shavings are an excellent choice for making your own eco-friendly laundry detergent, for general household cleaning or even as a natural stain remover for your clothes. Making your own detergent with soap shavings is often cheaper than buying commercial detergents.

As part of our commitment to sustainable, environmentally-friendly production, our organic lavender soap shavings are certified organic and come in fully recyclable packaging.

Composition: saponified olive oil*, water, glycerine (produced during the saponification reaction), olive oil (9% surgras). *Ingredients from organic farming.

Directions for use

Soap shavings are versatile and can be used in many different ways for laundry and home care, by combining them with essential oils. Here are a few recipe ideas and tips to get the most out of your soap shavings:

Recipe for homemade detergent with soap shavings :

Ingredients:

  • 100 g soap shavings (ideally vegetable oil-based)
  • 2 liters of hot water
  • 10-20 drops of essential oil of your choice (e.g. lavender, lemon, tea tree)

Instructions :

  1. In a large saucepan, heat the water until almost boiling.
  2. Add soap shavings to hot water and stir until completely dissolved.
  3. Allow to cool slightly, then add the chosen essential oils and stir again.
  4. Transfer the detergent to an airtight container (e.g. a glass bottle or reused detergent can).
  5. Use around 100 ml of this homemade detergent per wash.

Tips for using soap shavings and essential oils:

  • Laundry: Soap shavings are an excellent natural alternative to chemical detergents. They are effective for cleaning clothes while being gentler on the skin and the environment. Adding essential oils such as lavender or lemon can add a pleasant fresh scent to your laundry.
  • Multi-purpose cleaner: Mix a few tablespoons of soap shavings in a spray bottle filled with warm water. Add a few drops of tea tree essential oil for its antibacterial properties. Use this mixture to clean kitchen surfaces, bathrooms or even floors.

The advantages of doing your own laundry:

  • Economical: Making your own detergent with soap shavings is often cheaper than buying commercial detergents.
  • Eco-friendly: By using natural ingredients and avoiding harsh chemicals, you’re helping to reduce your ecological footprint.
  • Ingredient control: By making your own laundry detergent, you know exactly what ingredients are used, which is particularly interesting if you have sensitivities or allergies.

Remember to shake your detergent well before each use, as soap shavings can settle to the bottom of the container. Enjoy the economic and ecological benefits of making your own detergent, while benefiting from the aromatic properties of essential oils.

Sélection de produits lavande bio

Our main activity is the growing of lavender and lavandin, a family history with us for four generations. For years we have been pioneers in organic farming and recognised for the high quality of our work.

It was during a family meal in 2015 that the idea of distributing our products directly came to us. Until then, we had been selling our produce to wholesalers or agricultural cooperatives.

So it was on this impetus that myself, Samuel (22) and my partner Emma (20) decided to devote ourselves to this crop full-time, leaving the production side to my father so that everyone had all the space they needed to best develop their part of the business.
